Caught a small big eye about 400mm from a school busting up near me just over a week ago, caught on a 125mm Dual Adagio stickbait.  A couple jumping clear of the water were noticably bigger, say 5-600mm??  

On Monday there was a lot more weed floating around the area but I wasn't trolling - I think it would be a problem though.  Schools were a lot smaller and didn't stay on the surface anywhere near as long and was pretty tough getting close enough to them to cast.

yeah Monday I saw 5 or 6 schools of Big eye. Caught a few smaller ones 400-500mm. A few noticeably bigger ones jumping amongst them. was using a twisty to catch them and letting it sink a bit.
Didn't bother trolling, too much weed around anywhere west of Parker point

heaps about on the weekend about 20 nautical miles out from mandurah, we were heading out to do some bottom work and saw a few schools, cast one of my jigs into one of the schools and landed a smaller southern bluefin (about 2-3 kg) then we moved on. Wished we didnt move on after i ate it the next day, Delicious!

Caught 2 on Sunday near Rotto. Not sure if they are big eye or Southern Blue Fin. Football size for sure.

Rookie skipper kept driving the boat over the bust up schools and dispersed the fish. We would have caught more had he approached it upwind and let the boat drift down.

Both were caught on casting stickbait.
