Anyone done there cert 4 in OHS recently?

Hi all,
Im completing my cert 4 in occupational health and safety at the moment and im onto the last 2 assessments. Im completing it through polytechnics (tafe). Anyone can offer some help would be awesome

I'm doing the cert 4 with Tafe externally at the moment but only about to start the 3rd/4th units next week. Its been hard to get the motivation. :(

Tell me about it Adam, especially working nights (9.30pm-6am) fitting in some sleep and then study....and then fit in a fish haha. My due date is end of november so i need to get into gear. You doing your's for a specific job? Im hoping to get my foot in the mining industry

Yeh mate, I'm the opposite, work 7-4 going to 6-3 soon and get home and the last thing I feel like is study, especially when theres the site distraction. :) I haven't enquired about a due date, so will probably get a shock soon, might have to ramp it up a little bit but having to do the research on legislation sends me to sleep most afternoons. Mines not so much job specific as I'm already the OSH rep at work (small org thou) but would like it to possibly open doors down the line. It's good knowledge to have anyway.

Yeah very true, i have seen the ohs officers on a mine site i work at in Kal a few yew years ago. They seem to have a good life with the pay aswell as rolling out facilitations on new equipment and safe work practices. Il hope to aspire to something like that as ohs is still fairly new most ppl can make there own roster up. Work around when the fishing isn't good haha:p

Started doing my Cert IV in
Started doing my Cert IV in OH&S 2 weeks ago, finished cluster 1 last Thursday and picking up cluster 2 and 3 next week, should be finished in the new year. Finding it an absolute breeze to do as I already have very good knowledge on mining regulations to start with.

Assistance with Cert IV OHS please
Hi all.
I am currently doing my Cert IV in OHS. I am finding certain parts of it quite difficult. I know that the posts above are from quite a while ago but I was wondering if anyone out there could assist me? Its the BSB41407 course. Any help or direction would be very much appreciated. Would like to get it tied up asap.

Don't think I can assist sorry Laurie, sounds like it may have changed since I studied it as there was no Ball Mill Case Study in my 408 assignments. Hope someone else can help out.
