Never fished there myself but
Never fished there myself but it would probably fish very well for flatties in a month or two along those visible drop-offs! Wade out onto those sand banks and throw plastics and hardbodies :)

Thought the same thing as soon as I saw the edge of that sand bar in the top left.

The Channel in the very top
The Channel in the very top right of the square is worth a go on an outgoing tide, if you can get out there...as Kinga86 said, flatties sit in it and grab anything that floats through.

Be careful on the flats
Be careful on the flats though some spots get a bit soft...

That's just down the road
That's just down the road from me, move more to top right, bottom left is kinda sanctuary and mostly jack sh*t in there anyways, apart from good size yellow tail or something. Further to top left is the river along burke drive, fished along there since I was 7 never caught any flatties. Top right and top left is best bet.
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

Lots of weed in that area
Lots of weed in that area can make it very hard work but there are fish. If the tide is right up high then try the large clearer area that the top red line passes through. If the tide is low & the flats are exposed or only have a few cm of water over them then head to the point near the centre of your highlighted area. There's no shortage of flathead in those areas (dunno what your doing wrong Fisher Kid) through the summer & there's also plenty of small to medium size bream along with the occasional lunker. Don't worry about it being a sanctuary zone, it's perfectly legal for you to fish there, just don't leave your crap behind like so many others do.
