What are the invasive species that are starting to
proliferate in WA waters ?
Yesterday, i caught an unfamiliar crab at Hillarys. Good thing i was able to recall reading a writeup on Asian paddle crabs. So the critter was promptly destroyed. What are the other unwanted foreign species that we need to look out for?

Slightly off topic.... I haven't done as much crabbing this summer as I would have liked, but have read about these asian paddle crabs and that one can't release them.
Can someone tell me if they are edible? Or should one just kill and dispose of them???

Asian paddle tail has spines between its eyes, where the native does not - they look very similar!!!!
