Aus day tiger
Submitted by cuthbad on Sun, 2014-02-16 20:59
Finally got out for a fish on Aus day with a couple of mates who don't really fish much. Let them do most of the work getting the tiger in, then couple of guys fishing down the beach helped land it luckily, it would have been a mission by myself. Cheers guys if your on here. Hooks came out well and it swam away strong. Was a great night, always good getting away with friends, then a fish is just a bonus.

solid tiger! Great work
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Awesome!!
Great fish mate I'm hanging to get one.. Land based sharks just don't like me.. All I get it's rays and I'm gas ballooning.. Was this one caught on balloon or paddled bait?

Paddled bait man, I know what
Paddled bait man, I know what you mean about the rays though, they will take a way bigger bait than you would think hey

Good work, it's looking
Good work, it's looking pretty unhappy with the universe in that third shot. Brews well deserved.

Hey mate, well done absolute
Hey mate, well done absolute cracker!! Went up to wilbinga myself a few weekends ago but weed was terrible and high winds made kayak out of bounds. Any advice on the location? I was at flat rock myself but interested in trying again if weather is right.

Top stuff boys (and girl)
Top stuff boys (and girl) Cracking shark and looks like you handled it well. I caught one at roughly 30kg from the boat last year that was a blast, easy release too.
Love the West!
