Hi guys been looking at a baitcaster looking at the Abu revo st reel not sure on the rod but was wondering does any one use them here in perth and what for and if so do you use it land based

i use my bait caster Lb here
i use my bait caster Lb here in perth it works fine even used it with bait in the swan 35cm snapper caught a fair few bream withit as well

Calcutta 200b
I have a Calcutta 200b on a Fishing WA 5'8 baitcaster rod. Use it for my offshore whiting fishing. Enough backbone in the rod to nail the odd snapper or Dhuie that might latch on. Easy to stay in contact with the bottom using this outfit.
