Barcrusher 670C test drive
Submitted by Riles on Fri, 2013-09-13 14:25
Yesterday I decided with my mate Nick to take out the barcrusher for the first time since purchasing it to have a play with the sounder and other equipment. I couldn't be happier with how it went except for a faulty deckwash pump. The sounder worked great and the fishing was even better. We caught two 7kg and five 4kg Snapper and was back at the boat ramp by 8.
COuldnt think of a better way to christen the new boat. Cant wait to get out again soon

Cheers guys.
Pilbra Dave the fuel economy seems pretty good averaging 1L per NM while cruising between 18 to 25kts I havn't had it full throttle yet as the weather hasn't permitted but at 30kts theres still a fair bit of room to go. The ride is really good for an ali boat we launced it in 20kt winds and it cut threw the chop easily cruising between 18 and 23kts. The trim tabs work awesome as well, its amazing what a difference they make.
