beach fishing

Hi guys & gals,

where is the closest beach to the city that I can drive on & have a good chance of catching some tailor?

Failing the drive on part, could ya tell me of a beach with a short walk from the carpark. I have the rest of the week off & the kids wanna fish.

Thanks folks.

Throw a big bait out for shure  but put a float on for the kids cos the reef is nasty. there is heaps of yellow eye mullet to keep them busy ,just use a bit of burly .One of the F/W members picked up a nice tailor sundy mornin on a lightly weighted mulie

OK guys, call me a wimp (or maybe I'm just getting oldWink). I went down there bright & early yesterday morning & it was blowing a gale. Would have needed a 2lb lead just to get a bait out.

Looks great though & I will deffo try again when weather improves.

Thanks for all the advice.
