At a kinda work do for the boys on the season opener (festivous for the rest of us) the 3 B , i had a great idea . A couple of mates were were down from the mines ,so i hit them up for a fish , on monday .Got a crew sorted out so the next day i spend 6 hours cleaning the mulch out of the boat ,pumpimg tyres unsiezing the gockey wheel ,and the pad locks .Rang a mate to see if he wants to take the boat for a quick run down the river,he said his already down there but out of beer,so headed down boat still runs a couple of calls to confirm there spots and ill pick them up in the morning on the way through.

Headed out from hillarys to one of my spots not much action 1 bauldie ,so moved on to another ,lots of small fish and a black ass , one of my mates that drank too much at the river the day before started burleying for us, so we kept drifting away from the spot for a while then i got a good bite ,its started to take a bit of line so i took it easy on it to make sure i dont drop it . The thought of sambo went through mind then sting ray then when i saw colour ,i was still thing ray till it popped up i thought f@#k YEH dhuie ,My new PB 14kg and 94 cms .
