Hi, anyone here using them and if so
1. Are you happy with them?
2. What size boat and type, i.e., Tinnie, glass etc?
3. What type - electric or hydraulic?
4. Did you install them yourself?
5. Before buying did you compare them to other makes and models?
6. Any pro's and con's?
Cheers

I have them on my 6.7 glass
I have them on my 6.7 glass centre console. Love them, and when they weren't working recently noticed a massive difference in how the boat handles. They were already installed when I bought the boat but trouble shooting them recently pulled the pump and wiring out and put in a new switch which was pretty simple exercise. New switch fixed the problem I was having. I have the hydraulic version, easy to operate and wouldn't be without them. Parts are easy to source as well.

Cheers Timmbo, I'm looking for some for my Haines Hunter Breeze, she's 5.8m so its a toss up between electric or hydraulic.

I had Bennetts on my old
I had Bennetts on my old glass 7m Seaswirl Striper and have electric Lencos on my 8m Hydra-Sports now. They're both good but I prefer the Lencos. They adjust the boats trim quicker. Seemed like there was a slight delay with the Hydralic Bennetts. No problems with either.
Make sure you get the switches with the LED tab position indicators

I know you are in love with the zipwakes but there is no chance of fitting those on my boat, hence the reason for looking at the Bennets.

Thanks for your comments, I have seen the Lencos in action and they are quick. At present just wanting to compare them all against the Bennets.

have the bennets
have the bennets on my 6.4 mtr glass boat . Installed them myself without any problem . Its a better boat with them and recon trim tabs should be on every boat. Its one of the best mods ive done. Only trouble ive had is to replace the switch and i think that is fairly common .

Thanks Paul N
It seems that the switch is a common problem, I hope not.

The switch
The switch is a problem as its a toggle switch with a flimsy centre part . have had 2 go on me so far and the second one went up at Exmouth . had one tab up and other down and made it fun trying to get back to ramp at Tantabiddi . had to jerry rig a screw in the unit to make it work . its not the toggle switch but the plastic button that is the weak link. Contacted manufacturer and they replaced free of charge as the unit it expensive to replace . They had good customer service .
