Big Mackie from way back!

Just thought I would post this scanned pic of a big Mackeral I caught over 20 years ago at Quobba just off the island at Point Quobba. It pulled the Salter scales down to 40 kilos. It hit a huge Nilsmaster lure that we were trolling around early in the season and have a good account of itself on heavy mono.

How much bigger can they get ?? that is a bloody big fish. It looks like it has eaten most of the fingers off your left hand in the pic, classic old school, thanks for putting it up.
