Big Tuna caught in NZ
Submitted by Alan James on Thu, 2014-02-20 11:43
The following pics tell the story. It's big. Fish believed to be a Pacific Bluefin Tuna, weighed in at 411.6kg and caught by a women angler. Expected to be a new world record.

Would have chased that one around for a few hours before dragging it on board.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Still how did they manage?
That is one hell off a fush to try and "lift" onboard.
Would need a gantry, or a very "bug" transom door, and the entire front row All Blacks to pull it in

well it sure makes the whiting I entered in the bluewater comp on the weekend look pretty ordinary. But I would have liked to see those old blokes try and lift that up on the scale!
