Biomaster

Anyone knows how this stacks up against the sustain in size 4000. Drag and retrieve rate.  Longevity in salt water environment

thanx

The biomaster sw's are specifically a salt water reel.

drag pressure is bloody good as well(about 13kgs from memory)

i have been eyeing off a biomaster 4000 swa myself. A great all purpose size reel that would be good for light jigging and plastics, as well as being able to use it down the beach.

 I've got both a 5k sustain

I've got both a 5k sustain and a 5k biomaster sw, love both reels, the bio does feel atol more sturdier and like it can handle more. Sustain is more finesse and smooth, one of the nicest reels I've used... Just personal preference I guess

I have only had mine a few months and absolutley love it.

Pulled a absolute horse of a stingray from 15m to the surface with minimal struggle on 20lbs braid/50 leader combo nightime bashing for gummies in the boat a fortnight ago.

Also have the fb in a 6000 which I find a little less gutsy so to speak.

I say go the bio sw!

Hey mate,

The Biomasters are an awesome offshore / salt water reel. We use them for jigging / top water casting with no issues at all. The 4000 or the 5000 loaded with pe2/pe3 are perfect for all your metro work, be it chasing demersals or casting at tailor and salmon.

If you are chasing one send us a pm and we can sort out a good price for you.

Cheers
