Hi Guys and girls
As the title says ,any experience or thoughts with blackdog cats .
After seeing some videos on youtube they are out in some lumpy seas.
Good to see a boat in some rough stuff .

I've been out on my mates 545
I've been out on my mates 545 in Perth a few times and have nothing but good words to say. Handles very well in rough weather and a very well made boat. Plenty of room, very stable and rides comfortably fanging it in and out.

what size?
Dinghy world in Como are the dealers for Perth, apparently they have a 440 tiller coming in july/august.
A mate and i were looking at boats/tinnies to go halves in and settled on te 440 tiller for an ultimate tough tinnie. Options are pretty expensive though, looked much more viable to get a local guy to modify it to suit & build our own trailer & fitout ourselves too. 680 might be a differnet story though

I’m liking the single donk
Current project boat is a 5m Markham Whaler, im still deciding how to set her up. It's going to be a single donk and it will either be a big tiller on the back open boat style or a centre console.
My wife understands why I clean my rods n reels in the shower....
