Boat radio?

 Hi Guys,

Looking at fitting a radio/MP3 player to my boat - need something waterproof and resonably priced - have any of you bought or used this unit?

I have a JBL one that is very similar to that unit and it is great. They probably come out of the same factory. My one has Bluetooth which is a big plus, I thought those did as well but its not listed in the discription above.

I only listed the basics, as I don't want it to appear as an advert - I was after some advice.

I prefer the smaller 76.5mm round cutout, as space is prime in my boat, and not keen on cutting big box holes with a juigsaw - a quick holesaw will do the trick on this one..

  • LCD Display
  • Splashproof - designed for marine conditions.
  • supported file formats: MP3,Bluetooth.
  • Amplifier: output 4 x 15W
  • Radio function: FM/AM stereo receiver - Auto search function
  • USB slot at rear of player - includes a USB extension cable 1M to connect USB drive.
  • Uses very little power - standard 12V DC connection
  • Dimensions: 90mm diameter x 40mm deep
  • Cutout hole: 76.5mm diameter x 70mm deep for clearance
  • AUX Input: Connect ipods or MP3 players via Stereo to RCA cable (included)
  • Antenna input cable
  • Includes all mounting hardware, bracket, RCA to stereo cable and installation instructions.
