Boat Ramp Conundrum

Gents - as it's mine and most of Perth's last chance for a crack at demersal's this weekend, the weather has been kind to us and is looking prime for a fish on Saturday. I've done a couple of mid-week trips to two rocks recently and have found some nice ground directly west of the mariner which is where I'll be fishing this weekend.

As I've never fish two rocks on the weekend but having read plenty of horror stories about the wait required to launch/retrieve, it's turned me off a bit. So I've come up with two options; 1) aim for a 5am launch at two rocks and hopefully beat the crowds on the way out or 2) launch at Mindarie and motor a few extra nauticals in the boat hopefully avoiding a big crowd altogether.

What are peoples thoughts on the above options?

Cheers in advance

I suspected people would have the early bird idea too. No real loss in travel time (15minutes I save going to Mindarie instead will be spent on the boat going to the spot)

might pay to double check the forecast for down here mate.

looks pretty crap to go around the corner. I'd say most guys will be sticking to the bay.

5am is the new 6am mate.

id say get there earlier, but after the last long weekend where we started lining up near the shitters 300m down the road, I'd say get there at 4am.

And prepare to be pinged to death at Two Rocks, I could not believe the gall of some people out there during the last long weekend.

4am!

I don't think I can get my mates up that early. 5am at Mindarie is probably what I'll aim for.

Haha, I just thought pinging plebs come hand in hand with fishing in Perth. We were at Leeman for the long weekend and we fishing some ground in the 30's, nek minute there were 3 boats around us, the next day a bloke changed his course to drive by us 15nm out. People must see the jigging rods and think we're onto it, but it was my second trip up there and all new ground haha. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out!
