Council clean the ramps, high pressure hoses are good, our ramps at the club gets cleaned by the Bosun, I think from memory once a month at the lowest tide, no problems.
Dont ever go to denham now that is a dangerous ramp.I launch a 7m plus boat from mindarie all the time the only problem i have is when the water is cold i cant get the crew to undo the winch bloody wimps .You got it saltatrix most probs are trailer related .The boat in the photo above was still connected to the trailer when the car was under (so i was told by someone who was there when it happened)so it was always going the drag a rear wheel car backwards.I saw a guy a couple of years back tow a 7.5 meter boat with a fly bridge out with a camry front wheel drive result one of the best burnouts i have seen for a long time.
yeah i launch from Mindarie a fair bit too - no problems recently though in the winter months when the weed comes in it can get a bit slippery! once again, standing on the tow bar of sitting on the bonnet (front wheel drive) always helps:)

Mindarie has always appeared
Mindarie has always appeared to be a little steep.
People reverse down the ramp, jump on the anchors, any of the rollers stuck means the boat drags the car down the ramp
