Boat ramps starting to close
Submitted by black gen on Tue, 2020-04-07 20:39
Have read today that boat ramps in the southwest have been closed
this happening in the city aswel?
still can't see how being on a boat solo is worse then lining up in a jam packed supermarket
not saying I'm heading out but just the inconsistencies across the community is confusing

I don't think you can get
To Bunbury never mind Busselton due to the zone restrictions unless you have valid reason for the travel and I don't think fishing is taken as a valid reason

Operating
The said notice from Busselton Marine rescue stated that
They are operating for breakdowns and emergency life threatening situations
Isn't that what they do anyway?
I am only reading what was attached above so none the wiser, however it seems a bit odd if the ramps in Busso have been closed who are they going to rescue as far as breakdowns are concerned etc, realising that rock fishers etc can get into trouble etc etc etc.

Quick Question re Two Rocks
Looks like the northern metro border is only just past Two Rocks (perhaps 1km). Maybe I am reading it wrong. I suppose if you fish north of Two Rocks you are crossing over the to next zone? Is that the way people read it? One would have to be very careful heading north for a fish. Hard to tell how far off shore it extends?

I was going to go for a fish.
As soon as you head north out of the marina you cross the boudary just about.
I have a mate from Perth that was heading north on his boat. Been at the Abrohos for a couple of weeks. They have been told by police they cannot leave the midewest..or whatever region they are in. Can go back to Geraldton or Kalbarri but thats it. Can think of worst predicaments I suppose.
Might leave those Sea Bird dhuies for another time!!

Fuck me they have all bases covered. Might have to get in contact with El Chappo for one of his Charlie submarines.
I'm pretty sure they have the checkpoint at that driver reviver stop a few Km north of Breakwater Dve

State waters extend 12nm from
State waters extend 12nm from the shoreline and as the regional boundaries have been put in place by the WA Govt you could technically due west for 12.1nm and then head north staying outside of the 12nm line and be fine
Officially off the Pies bandwagon
