Boat selling forms

Just a quick question in selling a boat.
I had a look on the Departments website and as far as I can see the buyer and I need to complete 2 forms.
One for the boat – boat transfer form and
One for the trailer – Notification of Change of Ownership (Vehicle Licence Transfer Form).
Is my understanding correct?
When I try to phone them the phone just rings.
Cheers in advance

yep
your spot on. Just been through it. Both parties complete both forms and lodge within 7 days. Stamp duty on trailer and transfer fee for boat buyer. Paid $26 for the boat transfere. Both forms at dot or online.

iirc from my sale the DoT
iirc from my sale the DoT accepted printed off forms from their website for the Boat but not for the trailer, had to go in and collect a form from them for that part
