Gold coast depo to Perth depo for a cruise craft 7 meter was approx $7500.. Price changes depending where it starts and finishes. For me, I couldn't get it to the right depo at the other end so it cost a little more. If you can go MAIN pick up and drop off point, it's cheaper.
I was quoted $8,700 from Cairns to Perth for a 25 footer cost me about $2,200 in diesel and supplies for the journeyto tow a 19 footer you get a lot if funny looks from people towing through the middle of Australia.
Depends on the boat and the tow car but if i lived up that way and had a couple of weeks spare i would tow it back across the top and fish my way back.
you could try this bloke, he may be able to say take it to the south and then load it on the train for you to come west or possibly drive it all the way.

That sounds a bit better
That sounds a bit better Macca... guess you just need to shop around a bit. Couldn't justify doing the tow if it was that cheap.
I'm in Perth now allrounder!

Back loads to the east are
Back loads to the east are cheap as more freight coming west hence trucks running from west to east are lightly loaded.

Cheers guys, not quite ready to make any purchases just yet, just seeing if it's a viable option to buy from the east coast.

Vinesh
Hi Vinesh
I used Express Boat Transport from QLD. Came in well under others quoted
My Haines Signature 600 was 7.3m overall and cost $5500 picked up from a yard and delivered to Osborne Park and was well looked after.
Feel free to contact me if you wish.
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.
