Backups
Spewin, just been going through all my backup CD's looking for my old photos, and can't find my previous toys :(
Ahh well, listed below in order
First car: Datsun 1600 rally special
second, third & fourth cars : Datto 1600's
Met a girl, so time for: CM Valiant Drifter Panel Van. 318/727, Bright yellow & black. Killer stereo, party lights in the back with obligatory mattress!
Got serious with the girl, so decided to get a bit respectable: VL ex pursuit 5.0, pretty toey for a 100% street legal & street driven car. Flat 14's any day. Mum used to drive it sometimes.
A bunch of boring company cars, then 1996 900SS Ducati, last of the carby models!
More boring cars...
1969 VF Valiant hardtop, fully "Grandpa Stylin" with slant six, hubcaps, bench seats etc.
1970 VG Valiant Hardtop, as pictured previously & still current.
2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L Hemi V8 Overland, wow, what a car. Do anything, and great fun embarrassing SS utes at the lights.
Soon: Jeep Grand Cheroke CRD.
Look forward to hearing of others toys....

Sikk Hatch mate, Adam's got his name on a few show cars in Perth aye, had talks about workin for him not too long ago but I opted out of it. Glad to see you kept the blower fan. I hate bays that have a polished 'plate' where the fan once was. I just modified mine, bit of fibreglassin and bog to clear the big rocker covers, keeps it lookin balanced in there

My old torrie, 1978 UC Torana with 350chev on dedicated gas with Tremec 5spd and T78 BW 3.5 gears.
Did a 13.4 sec on the 1/4 with street tyres. (ended up selling it and bought a boat) later was stroked to 383 ran a 12.9sec after i sold it.
See there are a few other with torries as well.... nice...

2005 Lancer Evolution IX, dyno'ed at 217kw ATW on 95 octane fuel. about the only thing that wasn't touched was a full rebuild. 3 inch custon exhaust, intake piping, monstersport intercooler and piping, adjustable cam gears. tomei 260 degree cams, TD06 20G turbo, boost controller. Ralliart ACD ECU man my memory is getting bad, coilovers, fuel pumps a few cosmetic things. Brought it from new and owned me in the end over $40k in mods without labour.

Have to get hold of and scan some pictures of my earlier cars
First car was a LC GTR torana - great car got us out to Cactus beach, Scotts Bay/Fowlers Bay for more than one fishing/surfing trip - easy to fix when something broke and easy to dig out when we got bogged on some desolate track or cutting across a salt pan
ZF & ZG fairlanes - great highway cruisers to cactus etc, plenty of boot space (would fit a double mattress no worries) - downside - a bitch if you got bogged - learnt that quickly!!
KE laser - I'm 6'3" - don't know why I bought that (lasted 8 months)
XF falcon - didn't have for that long either
Then went into the Commy's - VS, VX and now VZ

The Motorsport days before boating took over
Here are a couple of my previous toys.
The Z unfortunately had a nasty accident with a cement part of the wall at Barbagello Raceway backwards and airborne at over 100mph. Everytime I have a can of drink now I wonder if there is a part of her in there somewhere.
The Skyline with around 630HP at the rear wheels lapping Wanneroo in 61.2 on treaded radials was good fun and kept me awake.
ROUGH RED
One day I hope to replace the boat picture I am using with one of a decent fish...One day...
