Daiwa Tournament 8 Accudepth
Daiwa Tournament 8 Accudepth Hyper PE is a good mid range braid I use on my 5000, then YGK on my 10000. Love both, the 5000 is used for land based spinning as much as off a boat. Both very low diameter.

have accudepth on my stella
have accudepth on my stella aswell.
but just don't believe the diameter. it's thicker than advertised. (but very smooth, casts well .....which I assume you will be doing with an XG...would recommend it)

That depends - what are you
That depends - what are you using it for?
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

I would personally use PE5 or
I would personally use PE5 or PE6 Saltiga Boat Braid.
Or similar strength Varivas if your not concerned about price. I do love the Saltiga stuff, but ended up stripping everything off my reel on the last trip and re-spooling with some Varivas off one of my casters on my last long range trip because I had about 4 unexplained line breakages. No idea what caused it. The line had only been on the reel for around 2 months and had only done one 5 day trip during that time. I really hope it was an isolated incident because I have quite a lot of the stuff!
