Bream rod

Hi there, I am in the market for a new rod for flicking plastics and small lures , I have a 2 piece and 1 piece Drop shot at the moment and a couple of custom light rods (made for fishing line class), just wondering if anyone has a suggestion on something new or stick to what I have, I am using a 1000 size Ultrega with PE1 and a 2500 DAIWA Calidia KIX with PE 1.5 (the reel has up to 7kg of drag available).Mainly light river and inshore stuff but the occasional big Murry cod and Yellowbelly thrown in.

If you are into the brim scene a couple of reccomendations would be welcome.

Thanks, Brendan.

Piece of string?

 So many variations to consider.

Prefered length?

Preferred rating?

Casting ability?

Lure weight?

I have about 10 different rods that are 1-3kg to 2-4kg and how they are used depends on the fishing style.

Diawa Hyper range would be my first recomendation for price vs performance.

But I love my 3 Ones.

I splurged on a special

And got a rod that in years gone by I couldnt even dream about due to $$$.

But the price has come down and a special made it irrisistable.

And I just love it for Bream and offshore whiting and the odd Snapper (it is mega fun then).

It's a G Loomis IMX Pro Spin and it Kick ass in my opinion.

Paired with a Shimano Stradic CI C2000S it's my go to every time.

Use it also for Fellowfin whiting spinning on the flats in Mandurah and have not been agle to fault it yet.
