Caught this puppy bout 9 mile off broome, ball sinker straight to hook, prawn bait. Grabbed it on the bottom and took off to the surface on some big runs, thought it was a shark, turned it and it went deep, took a little while to get in, hardest fighting fish i have caught to date. Also got some blueys and snapps but they couldnt come close to the power in this thing.

they certainly fight hard, about 18 years ago i worked on Barrow Island and hooked one off the rocks there about 15-16kg and it took half an hour to get in on a 12" rod , i had sore arms for days!. well done

Monster - would have gone
Monster - would have gone seriously hard
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
