disgraceful
Talk about the refs having it in for the Aussies, one thing to give the penalty, another the red card as well, FFS.

Good effort by the aussies
Good effort by the aussies but that ref was trigger happy on the cards. Under 10's soccer called, they want their ref back.
So now I guess that means unless we win and ghana win(against germany) we won't be into the next round?

The opposite...we must win
The opposite...we must win and hope that Germany win. That will put us and Ghana both on 4pts and Serbia on 3pts.
It will then come down to goal difference and ours is shot because of the 4-1 thumping. So we need a miracle basically.

Dissappointing Wiltshire or
Dissappointing Wiltshire or Kennedy didn't score. It was the three subs that almost got the second goal we needed. Unlucky!

Go Socceroos
Yeh, very disappointing to say the least. On the positive though, they played extremely well with 10 men for most of the game and actually took it right up to Ghana to the very end.
But hey that's the Aussie spirit though, that shines ever so brightly when faced with adversity. We just have to look to our other sporting endeavours covering many codes (AFL included) where our team has come back from the dead or against great odds to draw or even win.
Aussies never say die and I'm sure they'll come out all guns blazing against Serbia.

We need to beat Serbia by 3 goals
and for Germany to beat Ghana by 3..... cant see it happening unfortunately. Luck has definently not been on the S/Roos side and I doubt it will be in the next couple of games.

Red card was way to hard,
Red card was way to hard, penalty maybe, but red card? NO
anyway, we shouldn't have let the cross back in in the first place
I heard the commentators saying fifa brought in a rule that anyone who slides from behind earns an automatic red card. so why didn't addy get one? his tackle was way more 'violent' than Cahill's
wilkshire should have slotted his chance, so should have kennedy.
rukavytsa looked lively in his 10-15 mins on the ground
