Canarvon water

Howdy lads,
Heading up to ningaloo tuesday morning and wonder if anyone is in the know about water supplies in canarvon?
We are considering leaving all tanks and jerrys empty to keep weight down for the bulk of the trip and fill up with 140 litres in canarvon. Is it possible to do this?
Thanks in advance lads.

Fill
all jerries for fuel in coral bay n buy one 15l container per every two days while away ( based on two people), if you take plenty of water bottles n refill them it makes it easy. Missus n I and two dogs took a twenty litre Jerry for dogs n 7 15 litre containers for 11 days. Came home with water , just use salt water for washing up.

Water
Good idea to get water from Carnarvon as it is superb quality from their Gascoyne river.I bring home water from Carnarvon when I can as most metro water is pretty average
just do it.

We've filled up our tanks on our motorhome with water from the dump point. Can't remember what street it was, but it's in town.

Yes, absolutely, although we've gotten water from some places where it may as well been from the dump point.

Not to put Carnervon down,
Not to put Carnervon down, but from my experiance the town water and the supply at the dot jetty I would call barely drinkable. Made the mistake of filling boat up there after refit and ended up draining tanks and re-filling back in the bay. Our water is good, but to buy it bulk it cost 10c per 10 litres, not a huge cost to fill acoupple of jerrys but some people have a issue paying for tap water.

I buy my water a lot and
I buy my water a lot and don't mind doing so if it's good quality. 10c for 10 litres is quite acceptable, My main water lank is a 1000 litres, so it's a great piss off if I load up with water that tastes like crap and wont lather up in the shower.
