canning bridge/raffles

Hey guys just started heading out to canning bridge and the little jetty behind raffles these past few weeks so thought i'de let ya know how I've gone. Went out last week tuesday and caught alot of 20cm bream and a few just over 25 from about 12pm-5pm. Went out again on thursday and again alot of little bream around but caught about 5 aorund the 27cm mark. Decided to head out again tonight and got my pb so far with 29.5cm (only just started fishing again this past month) and a couple of 35cm tailor. Also been round the flats chuckign soft plastics around, been doing alright with 1 or 2 a session and generally spooking another 2 at least >.<
Im yet to get onto a bream on soft plastics tho past few trips have all been on baits. Are there any tips for bream on soft plasitcs or even hard bodies round that area?

 sx40's are good hardbodies

sx40's are good hardbodies to use, they'll catch flathead, tailor and bream which are all around canning bridge. Zman Grubz are good soft plastics, i like the darkish colours more but they all should work.

Use 4lb or 6lb fluro leader.

Use 4lb or 6lb fluro leader. Zman 2.5 grubs will survive the blowies for a while. Just use a slow steady retrieve and you will get fish.Keep moving around though, try fishing the northern side and walk towards the city. Plenty of good fish to be had around there.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've had decent luck with the flatties its just the bream that seem to be eluding me. I've been throwing the grubs around in watermelon but getting destroyed by blowies. Been thinking about heading down to point walter or uparound burswood anyone been to either of those two areas lately?
