Canning River Bream
Submitted by Ubermensch on Mon, 2010-02-01 10:42
Heading out to the Canning river for a spot of bream fishing this arvo. I generally get a few decent bream there, but was wondering if anyone else had been having any luck lately?
Cheers

Picked up a few flatties recently but I haven't had much joy with bream... they've been pretty small.
Where have you been fishing around mate?

Ye those look like good
Ye those look like good flathead. Ive been going around shelley lately for bream but i only ever seem to get a couple over legal size (biggest around 28 cm) the rest are about 20cm.
Today was a complete waste of time. We went to mt henry to flick some lures around. We were there 20 mins (with no luck) and then my mate somehow got his treble hook stuck pretty deep in his thumb.
Called it quits after that. So no luck
