Canning river report

hi guys

myself and a fellow fishwrecked user (joshyyyy b) went for a fish down at the new mount henry jetty this morning at 6:30am.

we had a good feeling about catching a few today after we caught 2 flatties there last week.

got absolutley nothing, tried hbs and soft plastics but nothing was working.

so we decided to go around to shelly bridge to try our luck. nothing. so many kayakers!

shelly bridge looks prime bream country, we are going to go back there on the high tide.

hopefully next weekend our luck will change!

Were the kayakers fishing or just getting in the way?

i was at the mt henry jetty last friday morning. stayed there from 5 to 8am before i headed off to uni. tried squidgies, blades, scorpions, baby vib...nothing

which is weird cause the last time i went there the place was absolutely crawling with bream, although that was about 4 weeks ago now :\

i'm gonna try my luck again but this time gonna wade along the bank. Friday evening looks to be a good tide too

i fished the mt henry for about 10 days, at least 2hrs a session and only got 1. this was around christmas time.

it looks promising, but I have never seen the place crawling with bream in fact, i have never seen a bream swimming under the bridge near the big pylons. wish i could be there when there is heaps of bream

but that time i didnt see them so maybe that's the reason i didnt get any

not like i can get them even if they're there anyway lol, them jetty bream are serious nuts to crack
