Cape Jigging V2

After last weeks success had to go back for another session jigging the Cape.

Barneyboy (Mark) volunteered to be deckie for the day as he has not experienced the Cape.

Great weather and once again plenty of fish.

Here's just a snap.

Thanks to Matt (hlokk) for the jigs and thats a Smith MJ105.

Mark certainly caught his fair share of sambo's and strectched the arms

And Thanks Ryan and Honsu at Oceanside, Mark used the Zest 120 jiggs and smashed the fish. Can highly recommend the Jig Master PE 2-3 rod. Dynamite rods guys. Cheers for the advice.

An honest 15kg sambo!!!

Tue, 2009-07-14 20:05

It would follow the hooked fish up to the boat, swim around for a bit, poke its tongue out and swim away, whilst getting rained upon with a huge variety of jigs and plastics. Next time.

Try and catch some live squid. They are dynamite on the Kingfish.

Jig Master rods

Thu, 2009-07-16 14:47

Fantastic rod Ryan. So much feel and power and so light.

The parobolic rods just make the jigging experience so much more enjoyable.

Those that have used it all comment positively

Had to empty Mark's pockets before he jumped off the boat cause he liked the Zest' jiggs so much...ha ha

will be ordering more.

cheers
