Hey, has anyone caught and good size mulloway in the capel river mouth? In the river side? I was there a few weeks ago and caught a soapy in there and keen to try the spot for a upgrade, some feed back would be good cheers kurt,

kurt , always lots of soapys
kurt , always lots of soapys in the rivers/drains this time of year along geo bay
rivers are the nurserys, when there open to the ocean the soapys will be there usually
waste of time trying for a bigger model in the river side imo
you would have a better chance off the beach anywhere along the bay/coast where you have a river/drain mouth opening into a deeper beach gutter, with some hard structure close by ,

Dont keep them under 750mm
Dont keep them under 750mm they taste better and have had a root by then so we know we are doing our bit to keep the fishery alive.
