Caribbean Cavalier

Does anyone own or has anyone been in a Cavalier mk 2? They're basically a smaller version of the reef runner, but I'm unsure how much smaller. They're listed as 6.22m overall, but I would like to get a better idea of the bunk and deck space. Cheers

Big difference in a foot or two

Been a Caribbean lover since a young bloke and have had a Reefrunner for a while, mate has a Cavalier and I've looked at a few Intruders that have been on the market with another mate. Also fished out of an 23 which is my dream boat. Cavalier is a small run about but capable of getting you home if weather turns bad. Good weather over nighter but would still consider as a day boat two person. Bunk is small but really comes down to budget and comfort. Prior to the Reefrunner I fished a 19 foot Fraser Voyager way beyond its capabilities so comes down to budget, expectations and reading the weather vs fuel range. Most places I fish now I'm surrounded by 200K+ fishing machines, so Reefy looks like a toy in amongst the 7-8 m weapons with 300hp and 500 litres of fuel on board. Can still only catch the same bag limits.

Thanks chinbald. I currently do week long trips to the Abrolhos in my 5.8m ali centre cab so I'm very aware of capabilities etc. A reef runner would be great but the places I fish at the Abrolhos it may be asking a bit much of a bigger boat ( very shallow water). Have done montes trips in a mates 6.2 Haines with enough room for 2 comfortably. Really just want to have a better look at a cavalier in person as I haven't seen one. What year is your mates one?
