south of carnarvon...whiting/bream in shallows, cod, snapper, sharks in channels

town...mulloway, bream from 1 mile, mackeral on the second or third day of easterlies, sharks anywhere, tailor in the evening, queenies on lures

mouth of river  queenies and tailor

pelican point, yelloow fin whiting...becoming known as LBG hotspot for XL sharks

myaboolya beach for sharks, bream, tailor

quobba for everyfish, experience is necessary to fish here, we usually lose one or two fishermen each year going into the drink.

ask at Tel-O-mac tackle...he knows his fishing!

One overnight stay

Mon, 2016-12-12 18:51

One overnight stay  travelling i decided to kill some time  flicking around the  marina.

As expected  heaps of Bream  then  pleasantly surprised  with a few mangrove jacks,  then  tailor  and  using  tailor   strips   got a soapie mulloway. What a fun  casual  night with a  few surprises.

Son Jeff chucked a lure about at Pelican point this morning for an hour around 0900 while his missus was at the hospital, resulted in 4 tailor just over a kilo each and released a couple of good trevs
