Hi All

looking for a casting rod for a Stella 6000SW PE3, need it to cast stick baits for tuna, mackerel and other Pelagic's

what's everyone using?

Daiwa Saltist Demon Blood 7'6".  Good for lures of up to around 3oz.  Nice action for stickbaits, plenty of backbone, very light and moderately priced.

 I got this one for my last Exmouth trip and it matched up great with my Stella 5k casting for macs etc. 

 

SA EX 762S-2/4– the perfect light tackle long distance casting rod. Match with a 4000 – 4500 reel this model is ideal for casting metals, poppers, sliders and jerkbaits to surface feeing pelagics such as long tail tuna, Spaniards, albacore, etc. Suited to casting lures in the 20-90 grams weight range.

 I got one of the new Shimano Grappler pe3 casting rods for the same purpose to match my 5000 stella.

Sweet rods at good price,
