Catching squid off Denham

We get down to SharkBay area hoping to get into Big Lagoon but rain the day before stopped us from getting the van out that way so we lived it up in a caravan park for a couple of nights.
Anyone had much luck fishing the Big Lagoon area? Looked like a great spot and hopefully get in that way next year for a week or more.

The channel
I have launched a tinny at big lagoon.I was advised by a local to head out and find the channel.Anchor and berley an hour either side of the high tide and hang on.There are some big bluebone call the channel home and black snapper keep you busy
just do it.

Hey mate, good to know! it looks like a great little spot hey! I wonder if there would be blue mannas in the lagoon too? Even on a windy day you could find some protection somewhere hey?
