yeh i have had quite a bit of success with plastics at night but only when there is light around. and he was breaky the next morning :)

im always after eatable flathead but i never get them, i speared one about a year ago, around 35cm.......beer battered it.....omg was it tasty! Where you in the lower reaches of the swan i take it
