A gentlemans start, 9:30 launch at cockburn ramp. headed south to some weedy ground. it was the purple yamashita v the orange $15 jobby whos name i cant remember but it has a rattle in it.
Scoreboard after 3 hours
Purple Yama : 12
Orange jobby : 17 squid and 1 cuttlefish
Most pretty small, the biggest was really nothing to write home about.
Kept a handfull that will soon be treated with a light dusting of flour a healthy serve of salt and pepper; and returned the rest.
A nice day out and a painful wash down after. Bloody ink.

Hey good going,,Orange has
Hey good going,,Orange has been doing well lately,,i have been useing purple/pink and other Harmitsus in one spot for no result,,a friend reports catching good numbers on a $2.50 Orange one,,thats just that one area though
Yesterday i got a dozen on a darkish harmitsu 2.5,,late morning the squid seemed to fire as opposed to early morning.
BTW > I always find the squid smallish in that area (if you travelled 2-3 kms)i was told it might be a breeding ground,, i also find the closer i go to shore the more cuttlefish i pick up.

yep went out for a quick 1 hour squid session on Saturday arvo, hit the water about 3.30pm.
We got our boat limit within the hour, with organge doing the majority of the damage, and pink not too far in 2nd place
With green only pickingup 3 or 4.
Yep quite a few small ones about...made good bait tho :)
Had a good feed of salt and pepper squid too!!
