The boat currently has a LMS330C on it which is working well.  Now I want to install a HDS5 on the boat as well and have questions about their communication ability.

I assume I would use NMEA0183 as the connection.  How much sharing can the 2 units do?  Can they share waypoints? I assume they cannot share map data?

Also, does anyone have a Lowrance 83/200khz (HST-WBSL) transducer installed together next to a 50/200khz (HST-DFSBL)?  Do they interfere with each other?
