Conditions for plugging from beach

Hi I am new to the forum. I am wanting to try plugs for Tailor on the beach but the last few evenings the waves and wind have been crazy. This evening the wind is not as strong, are 3m waves the norm or do people normally wait for smaller waves? thanks.

LOL
3m is a little extreme, better to fish in waves under 1.5m and fish the gutters and gaps in reef where the deeper water is.
Also try to steer cleer of churned up 'sandy' water. I've always found Tailor prefer the clearer 'blue' coloured wash

Yeh 3m is a bit hey! But you can try time your casts for inbetween sets. Or move down the beach and find a spot where the waves aren't breaking which generally means deeper water.
