Cops like that make my blood boil, every one isn't a criminal..sure speeding is bad but doesn't need that sort of behaviour from an officer

Sun, 2016-06-12 15:56

And the majority of people think the police wouldn't do shit like that. Well this dip stick would shoot you as quick as you dare try and resist him. Haha
He has probably been doing shit like that for 20 something years. But any complains about him..well you would be wasting your time police don't carry on like that do they.. You can imagine what else this wanker has got up to. Thank fuck for our smart phones. Off to the inspector then sack him. LOL

 FFS Wayne, there's shitheads

Sun, 2016-06-12 16:12

FFS Wayne, there's shitheads in every walk of life and work. I come accross them more often the older I get. What got up my goat was old mate's original post up top coining them all as useless pricks. They are obviously necessary in a civillised society , or is it your view we don't need cops?

Hmmm it would be interesting to see him metally evaluated

Mon, 2016-06-13 00:10

Nothing can excuse his actions which are cause for concern, this not America.

However if I've read it right the same guy was involved in an incident in 2003 which was of unacceptable behaviour.

Perhaps, just perhaps as he is a long serving cop he is suffering from PTSD.

All humans can only put up with so much stress and then it can start to tell on their mental state of mind and if not picked up and professional help given to assist the person get over it then "normal" behaviour goes out the door.

You can only go to so many doors and say I'm sorry to inform you that your husband, son, daughter, mother, brother etc has been killed in a motor accident or whatever, and then have to deal with the extreme distress that unfolds in front of you and try and hold yourself together and do your job. Or go to an accident and help pick up pieces of human beings that are spread across the road. Then deal with the abuse from people who are drunk or drugged out of their minds when you stop them from driving and try to save their lives.

Yep they volunteered for the job, and thank Christ we have them.

As I say if it is found that the cop has suffered a mental crash and has PTSD, then his supervisor should be looked at for not having a close enough relationship with his staff to see it happening and doing something positive about it
and not the all to often said," it's all in your mind Tom Dick or Harry go and have a few beers with ya mates after the shift and you will be alright." or "suck it up and be a man and get on with the job stop being a wus"

If he is just a bastard, and found guilty with no extenuating circumstances, jail him for endanger life and depredation of liberty.

IMO I can't see how any cop

Mon, 2016-06-13 09:24

IMO I can't see how any cop came be critised for shooting, the guy was armed with a knife - one of the most dangerous weapons someone can have, at close quaters more dangerous than a gun.

As far as a shot or two missing shooting a moving target in a stressful situation does not compare to shooting targets and they don't have special forces training available to them.

I know a copper whose partner was killed by a knife weilding male whilst they were on duty - he's still dealing with it.

Whilst the offender may be mentally unstable - blame the government for reducing funding - not the cops and other emergency services who are on the wrong end of the stick.

Things are only going to get worse with the change in drug types now coming into the country

It is 'police policy' to

Wed, 2016-06-15 23:06

It is 'police policy' to shoot someone in the body mass when someone is charging with a weapon which can be a screwdriver

If something goes wrong because the officer doesnt shoot when the public are at risk then the officer can be disciplined.

There was debate over the type of ballistics used in the Lindt cafe.  They were going to bring in the army, but the military ballistics are harder, and there was concern about richochet on hostages, so they went with police ballistics.

Two officers came under some critic recently for changing a tyre.  It does cost money, and there is a perfectly good RAC.  But they are human.

If you charge officers with a screwdriver, it is police policy they punch a big hole in you.  In psychotics, especially drug induced psychosis a taser can be next to useless = Adrenalin charged tothe eyeballs. Adrenalin is why you hear of people picking up cars in accidents

Psychotics can be so adrenalin filled, stabbing them means nothing.  Its why you see 6 people cant stop them. They are like The Terminator
The adrenalin affords him a crystal clarity of mind, that he would have run through the taser, stabbed her in the neck and kept on killing other people.

Count the time she has on this one. Watch the video: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-06-09/four-injured-as-police-shoot-man-hornsby-shopping-centre/7496102

British Labour MP Jo Cox has died after being shot three times, including once in the head, and stabbed with a ‘foot-long knife’ in the street of her constituency in an attack that has left the nation shocked.

Ms Cox, 41, was left in a pool of her own blood while meeting with her constituents in Birstall, near Leeds, on Thursday afternoon local time.

Thomas Mair, 52, who has a history of mental illness and has been described as a 'loner' by locals, was arrested following the attack and police have since conducted a search of his home in Lowood Lane, Birstall.
There are reports Mair has affiliations with a white supremacist organisation in England.
