Here's a few pics from my recent trip to CB. A little lazy with the camera this trip....or maybe was too much action!
Weather was hit and miss as usual although driving up the day of the cyclone we thought it would be much worse. Turns out the day after was our best weather. managed to catch 54 good size Reds for the 10 days along with plenty of other species, most of which are back swimming around.
Now only 50 weeks til the next trip........

nice haul what depth you catching the reds in I am heading up in a month so hope I have luck on my side

Hey Sparrow - Still killing it I see, well done. Were up there end of July targetting the Reds and Goldband. Hopefully we will do as well.

Big bite
Looking at the size of the bite off on the cod it was a decent size shark. Did you have much of a problem with the sharks up there.

Hey Laneo, the fish came from 40-120m deep but best depths were 65m and 110m. goldbands were in as shallow as 90m which is odd for them I though.
Yeah Meglodon, that cod got munched at the side of the boat. It was a reasonable size shark but not huge. maybe 8ft. Aside from a couple of fish taken sharks were not a problem this year thankfully.
That trout had pure white glowing flesh Boydy....yum!
Good luck Cruise control, your boat would have eaten up the short chop nicely last week. No swell was great, just stiff easterlys to deal with.
