Going up there end of May
Going up there end of May start of June. We always drag a few lures out to our spots if the wind is a bit up in the mornings and have been rewarded in the past with tuna, macks and even small billies in the deeper water. All the best and let us know how you went.

I'm here
Coral Bay is a ghost town at the moment. Been here since sat and will be here till next Monday . Weather has been a bit hit n miss but there's plenty of stuff to do around here. Did the drive up to Exmouth today and had a snorkel at Turquoise bay ( always blows me away every time , even after twenty years !) Down side some low life fuckstool took a liking to my wife's Havianas on the beach and lifted em... Pity the fool if I find em walking around... Will be amusing to watch this place fill up over the next few days.:)
My wife understands why I clean my rods n reels in the shower....

Gilly I will be arriving
Gilly I will be arriving there Sat, with a mate and our wives stopping in Garden Villas in the Bayview caravan park. While not the 1st time there usually chasing mackies, this will be first time focussing on bottom bouncing up there. Like you sought and got good advice from guys on this site. I will have a 5.1 Quintrex Coast Runner (90 Suzuki) so will keep an eye out for you. What are your boat details?

Trip
Watch out for roos, goats and cattle from Billabong through to Carnarvon. Plenty of goats around Wooramel as usual and cattle from 60km south of Carnarvon through to town.
Not sure about north of Carnarvon as haven't heard of any reports and we haven't collected any cars up that way recently with the tow trucks.
Also for the big eaters while driving give the Wooramel whopper a try, magic burgers that will stop nearly all those hunger pains

If your unsure about heading
If your unsure about heading out south passage, take the time to go out from the North. Markers all the way.
If you can't get the boat out, spend some time heading south and exploring Warroora Station.
Gotta love the whole going North stuff but some of my next adventures will be more SA, WA boarder, some really unexplored shore fishing down that way.
Enjoy Gilly!

Bit rough out there today.
Bit rough out there today. Caught small yellow fin tuna, big rankin, goldband, trevally, cobias x3, massive cod. Found a big patch in the 70's, 3 boats fishing covered some ground. Weather's getting better this week
