a couple of fish from today

After visiting the dentist I had a couple of hours to spare and as I had the rods in the car I decided to hit the spoil bank. Not much around today but within half an hour I had these two and a small shark in the eesky . I would have let them go but as both engulfed the live bait the hook lodged in the gills . They certainly won't go to waste, had some for dinner and the rest will end up in Perth for friends of my mums . Great workout as they go damn hard off the beach

Nice pair. Trevally go good
Nice pair. Trevally go good in Thai green curry, a mate would make it when camping. We use gold spot trev's.

I have had these ones pan
I have had these ones pan fried and beer battered and certainly not complaining. Bit of lemon pepper seasoning goes well

Too true. When you can't get
Too true.
When you can't get out in the boat there is nearly always something hungry off the beach. The big trevally certainly let you know they are there .
