Crabbing in the river

HI
Are there still plenty of crabs in the river?
I live in rockingham, where is the best place to take and lauch the boat
to go for a crab session in the river?
I have never been in the river before so any info and advice would be appreciated

Ive only ever free-dived for
Ive only ever free-dived for them, mostlky around point walter. I heard from a diver that there were a heap down the bottom at blackwall reach, so perhaps try there!
