I have an idea, be it a silly one but one everone can participate in.
Best fish on the crappiest combo money can buy, new photo's, extra pionts for video.
Could be interesting.... whaddya recon?

I'll clean it up
I'll clean up that comp, just use my okuma which has bearings almost seized and rattling and screwy noises coming from everywhere. Probably half the reason I drop all those big dhuies. Not a bad idea thou Nealez, I'll just have to go borrow Shizz's pink bream rod and see what I can muster up. I'll throw in a fishwrecked shirt or hat for the winner.

the way the weather is going down here it'll only be bream ill be chasing fingers crossed for somthing bigger.. set a cut off date towards the middle of november possibly? rod and reel only no handlines... if only it was salmon season!!

Ok, give it to the end of november for the crap reel comp. Don't think the night fishing will be going ahead at this rate, not sure if I'll be doing much fishing this weekend either. :(
Make sure you get the crap reels in the photo too.

I might have to bust out the kid $8 red dot special rods and see if I can work my magic.Ive caught a 15kg mullaway on a $45 beach combo from foodland Kalbarri, and a 6kg tailor on a $35 Kmart combo in kalbarri as well. but the second tailor snapped the rod clean in half.

Jay - people do that its quite annoying, they try and act "cool" by tryin to land a sambo on 4lb or a crappy combo but in the mean time it takes up valuable fishing time and also wears out the fish by the time it gets to the surface. So if anyones plannin on doing it , dont do it in 110m of water.
