Crays

Went diving with a mate yesterday and got a bag full of crays off the beach. Went last saturday with another mate and we both got 6. Both locations crays were a bit soft. Some whites mixed through. Most crays few mm over with the odd larger one. Was diving down at Mandurah

Well done Sphere, Ive heard the crays are back in locally at Bunbury also.
Laughed when I noticed the cling wrap under the crays ( we all do what the missus requests )

Unfortunately dont have chooks at this house but do have a tumble composter thingo. Has 2 compartments and we put everything in there. Add some lawn clippings and a small amount of manure and it really gets going.

Do you think
Based on what you saw when diving do you think it is worth while putting pots back in the shallows of Mandurah on the close in reefs.

Mate i reckon after the moon it should be ok. I wouldnt call the crays soft but they were softish. Not like whites. There were plenty there.
A mate of mine is putting in his pots later this week

i was out
i was out behind the sisters on sunday and saw these young blokes free diving in the shallows i waited untill they were all out of the water and motored over to ask how did they go , oh really well we are well over our limit going to to have to chuck the smaller 1s back , throw them over here we both have cray liciences so they threw us 8 crays , is that illegal ?,the evidence has been eaten any way
