A medical emergency such as heart attack (or overboard) will see it carry on til out of fuel which could be 100's of miles

Water Police have a computer program that they load all the weather, tidal, boat type, boat size into it and it expands the search area as time passes. For those members of sea rescue groups who are visiting in North Fremantle area it pays to ask for a look through their base and if possible to see how the variables pan out over time
