Cuttlefish

Hi! Have you ever gone fishing in one coloured boat and came back in a different one?
I did yesterday after i pulled up a 3KG Cuttlefish and tried to clean it?
Anyone know how to clean and cook these BLACK critters

Hey mate, leave it in the net and thrash it around the side of the boat until it sprays 2 or 3 times, and then pull its head from its body in the net and give it another wash, push the cuttle/backbone from its hood and peel the skin of the white flesh, slice it nice and thin, egg and breadcrumb and they are better than squid in my opinion

If you have a fish scaler
If you have a fish scaler bag put them in that and tow them for a bit. they end up clean as , all you need to do after that is cut the beak of and put in a bag job done. Oh yeah and the back bone bit just breaks up into pieces.
