Southerly
Been southerly around 15 -29 knots in Carnarvon all day but looking at the radar it won't be long before we get a shower or three. They are predicting a metre above the spring tide for tomorrow night.
Spent all day adding extra ropes to boats moored in the harbour so fingers crossed all goes well.

the big question is
will it still be a cyclone when it hits the south west??? the us navy is forcasting a cat 1 cyclone to either hit or brush the south west corner any where fromn perth south wards to the cape!

Cranking up
The wind here in Carnarvon has gone from 5-10 knot southerly last night to NE about 15 knots and increasing this morning so fingers crossed on where its heading .
Its been downgraded to cat 3 this morning and the town has gone from watch to yellow alert.

Double check
Had to do a double check and found we are still only on watch, email on Narelle updates I got from DFES this morning is wrong.
Now 1100 and the wind and humidity have climbed , wind steady 15/18 NE and humidity feels like 100%

Might get another off NT in the next few days low pressure at about 1006. Could be up for a few this year.

Monsoon activity
Lot of monsoon cloud and low pressure systems starting to build and link up.
We've got a few barges heading from South east Asia southwards. Need to time it very carefully.
