I would take you for a fish,
I would take you for a fish, but I'm on my way to exmouth .
by the sounds of reports you are going to have the better weather, Anyhow head into the city and fish the stones at cullen bay in early morning with metal slice/ surface lures, my goto lure at the moment is the nany waxwing, BG colour. go to the casino side rocks once you hit the 'beach' fish on the end of eack groin.
East point is also good, two rock points behind the military muesem?! on a high falling tide'are good especialy in the evenings, if you dont catch a fish you will see a great sunset.
catch'a ferry to mandorah or drive, I prefer the later as I can go home when I want, Longtail tuna, mackies, skinnys, and trevally are residents at this jetty, when fishing solo here I fish of the shore line near the boat ramp, great set of rocks and 10kg line is a bit light for hauling fish out of the water for five plus meters, Also Darwin wharfe has the same resident fish. Note fish early morning just as the sun is rising.
hope this helps. cheers Syd

Advice above is good. Could also try flicking blue/white deep divers off the rocks below the Nightcliff swimming pool - plenty barra there even in the colder months
